Strider Championship coming to an Irish BMX National near you soon!

 

 

BMX Ireland will be running a Strider Championship during the 2016 National BMX Series. Each of the 8 National Series races will include a ‘for fun’ Strider race for the Under 5’s with medals for every rider in the race.

 

 

 

The Details!
 
– Entry to the Strider Championship is only €20 per child which covers all 8 events.
 
– Every riders gets Official Strider Race Jersey as part of the entry fee.
 
– Every rider will get a medal at each event, the same medal for all riders.
 
– Riders must use a  balance bike with no pedals.
 
– A parent or guardian must be present for a child to take part.
 
– This event is to encourage participation, no points are awarded.
 

 
Parents please note Strider racing is all about FUN and less about who crosses the finish line first! Focused should be on every child taking part, a sure fire way to boost their confidence and be part of the action. As usual the Cycling Ireland Code of Conduct will be in full effect!

Each on-line National Registration will have a Strider category, it would help if you register for each event via the BMX Ireland site but entries will also be taken on the day at each event.
