2012 Indoor National Championships

 

 

The inaugural Indoor National Championships were run by Cherry Orchard BMX on the 4th November 2012. It turned out to be a perfect day to run it, racing BMX with hail stones outside.

 

In total seventy three riders signed up from 5 to 47 years old with ninety four moto’s when all was said and done!

 

 

There was even an International flavour to the event with 1996 World Champion Mike Savage from Connecticut, USA making the trip over to race … his 26th different country to compete in. Mike has been prolific in the UCI World Championships, including his 1st he has many 2nd and 3rd place finishes. He also holds many different US titles. Read some of his bio HERE & HERE.
